Objects and Sculpture

This body of work brings Alfred's sensibility into three dimensions - where form becomes structure, and structure begins to speak. In Someone Else's Religion, steel rods rise from poured concrete bases, supporting plaster enclosures that suggest fragile dwellings or shrines. Originating in a dream, the sculptures feel both ancient and imagined - like remnants of belief systems built long ago or yet to come.
