Photographic works

Alfred's photographic works explore how time, scale, and memory shape perception. In his ongoing series Objects of Berlin, he uses a Polaroid SX-70 to construct composite portraits through accumulation rather than singular capture. By photographing close-up sections of everyday objects - he reorients attention toward the overlooked and the ordinary.

These fragments are then reassembled into gridded compositions, revealing the form slowly, moment by moment. Rather than capturing a static instance, each composition reflects the layered nature of lived experience and the imperfection of memory. What emerges is an embodied sense of seeing, where moments are stitched together across time.
